Your own portal, from your CA or employer

If your CA firm or your employer uses ReturnDone, they invite you to a portal of your own. There is nothing to sign up for: open the invitation, set your password, and log in.

If you are a client of a CA firm

Your compliance, no longer a mystery

  • Is it filed? Every return your firm has filed for you, with the acknowledgement to download.
  • What is coming up? Your GST, TDS and income-tax deadlines for the months ahead.
  • What do they need from me? Named document requests, each with a reason and a due date. Upload from your phone and the list ticks itself off.
  • Where are my papers? One vault for what you shared and what your firm produced.
  • Your team too. A business can add colleagues as an owner, an accountant, an employee or a view-only reader, and remove them at any time.
If you are an employee

Your Form 16 and salary papers, when you need them

  • Your documents, by year. Form 16, Form 16A and the other papers your employer's CA delivers to you, and only you.
  • Ready-made bundles. When a lender, a landlord or a visa office asks, download the set as one file.
  • Tax deducted, quarter by quarter. Straight from the salary TDS return that was filed.
  • A question? Ask in one private thread with your employer's payroll contact and their CA, where your employer has it switched on.
Questions

The honest answers

Does this cost me anything?

No. Your CA firm pays for ReturnDone; your login is included at no cost to you, and it never counts towards their seats.

Who can see my documents?

Only you and the people working on your file. Clients and employees see only their own records, every file your firm opens is logged, and files are encrypted at rest.

I file my own return. Is this for me?

Not this page. If you want a CA to file your income-tax return for you, see how it works for individuals. If you run a CA practice, see ReturnDone for firms.
