By creating a ReturnDone account, ticking the consent checkbox at signup, or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical signature.
ReturnDone provides income tax return preparation and filing services for individual taxpayers in India. Every return is prepared and reviewed by a qualified Chartered Accountant using the documents and information you provide. The documents you upload are made available to your assigned CA, who reviews them to prepare and file your return; all professional judgment and sign-off rest with that CA.
You must be 18 or older and capable of entering a binding contract. Your account is verified by email; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@growinture.com if you suspect unauthorised access. One account serves one PAN; filing for family members requires separate accounts.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents and answers you provide, and for responding to queries raised by your CA in reasonable time. Withholding income information (for example interest or capital gains visible in AIS) may result in an inaccurate return for which we cannot accept responsibility. The final computation is filed only after your explicit in-app approval, which is recorded with a timestamp.
Plan fees are fixed, displayed in full before payment, and payable in advance — the price shown is the total you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials. If your case turns out simpler than the plan purchased, we refund the difference automatically; if more complex, we seek your consent before charging any difference. Cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy.
Our advice is limited to the preparation and filing of your income tax return for the relevant assessment year, including regime comparison and deduction optimisation based on the documents provided. It does not constitute investment advice, audit, certification, or representation before tax authorities unless separately agreed in writing. Consultation calls are general guidance on your return, not a substitute for a full advisory engagement.
Nothing is filed without your approval. Once you approve a draft, your CA files it on the Income Tax portal and the acknowledgment number is shared with you. E-verification within 30 days of filing is a statutory requirement and your responsibility; we guide and remind you, but an unverified return is treated by the department as not filed.
Revised returns before 31 December of the assessment year are supported; if an error is attributable to us, the revision is free. If you receive a notice relating to a return we filed, forward it within 7 days — your CA will review it and draft a response as included in your plan. Notices arising from information you did not disclose are handled on a best-effort, separately-charged basis.
The ReturnDone name, product, interface and content are owned by Growinture Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You retain full ownership of the documents you upload; you grant us a limited licence to process them solely to prepare and file your return. Computation sheets prepared for you are yours to keep and download.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from a return is limited to the fees paid for that return. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for delays or outages of the Income Tax portal, for interest or penalties arising from incomplete information you provided, or for consequences of missing the e-verification window after our reminders.
You may stop using the service at any time; deletion of your data is covered in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraudulent documents, or non-payment. If we terminate without cause before your return is filed, you receive a full refund.
We may update these Terms between filing seasons. Material changes are notified by email at least 15 days before taking effect and never apply retroactively to a return already paid for.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum available to you.
